Rumor has it that the next must have product from Apple will be a 10″ tablet device. The latest internet rumors claim that the upcoming tablet will come in two possible versions, one for educational use and one with a Web cam and will feature an OLED screen. Reports state that the much anticipated device will look a lot like a giant iPhone or iPod touch and will even have the same home button now used on the iPhone. The speculated price for the tablet is reported to be between $700 and $900 and is expected to be launched sometime toward the end of 2009 or beginning of 2010.

I disagree with your end of 2009… how about Mid-September (rumor has it)… looking for upgrades across the iPod line! Maybe the Touch will have a camera and microphone > great for new apps! As far as the tablet… I wonder if Apple has plans to OEM the device with other manufacturers, allowing integration into other electronic devices (such as control panel for stand-alone components).
