More Problematic Than Texting… Growing Safety Concerns on the Horizon

We thought texting in vehicles was a problem… wait until in-vehicle online browsing hits!In a February 3^rd report by ‘Pocket Lint LTD’ Opera has partnered with Ford for in-vehicle Internet browsing.  Getting its browser onto in-vehicle computer systems Opera will bring in-dash web browsing to Ford trucks and vans, catering to a “growing need for remote access to the office while on-the-road”. 

This is the first of Opera’s plans to deliver a full-featured, on-board browser that will deliver weather, traffic, news, e-mail and more to drivers, “seamlessly and safely.” 

Well, not sure about the “safely” aspect of the comment!  Traffic & weather makes sense.  Maybe they should stop there!
