My television is possessed by a gremlin, determined that the volume must be at full throttle when automobile commercials are aired!  All of my family members know the location of the “mute” button, a direct result of the loudness in television programming.  (more…)

3D: Not Even A Blip On The Buying Radar

In a Jan-28th Digital Trends article by Geoff Duncan, Opinion Research Corporation (www.opinionresearch.com) found that the “potential for 3D TV isn’t much of a blip on consumers’ buying radars.  After all the hoopla over 3D technology by the manufacturers, in trade magazines, and at the CES show in Las Vegas, only five percent of survey respondents said they plan to buy a 3D-capable television in the next two years, reports ORC.  We can only respond… duh; no $#%^ Sherlock; or from our leaders, Bob & Tom, “Thank you Mr. Obvious.”
