Optional Apple Care $99.

Listening to the WalMart associate trying to explain it's functions. PRICELE$$

Its all about dollars. Keep the release tight to create a pent up demand and then flood the market and make it available everywhere. Look whats happening with the iPhone and Verizon.

Apple people are smart, but I too share the "windows" fear of a corporate giant with a monopoly. We can always vote with our money and not buy it... or get off the grid and live like a cave man.

You have to have faith in the system. Apple is a smart group. They'll figure things out.

So fast TigerMan! I can't say that we weren't disappointed when receiving the initial news about the release. But... we have uses for the iPad far beyond the conceptual visions of those who created it; so, that didn’t bother us. It does bother us in what appears to be a sideways transaction riding piggyback on a corporate relationship which gives precedence to its dealer network over that of the Apple dealers. All kinds of things are possible when you have enough money. :-(

Honestly, that is the first thing that makes sense. BestBuy was moronic - wait... it was a billion dollar company to billion dollar company deal. Jeers Apple. That was a f^@# stupid, short sighted move that only made sense to your great green bottom line. Be careful because soon, we may be thinking of you in "Windows" regard.
