Muster the courage to submit your idea(s) in addressing society’s challenges. Be apart of setting important national goals in areas such as health, energy, national security, education, and others. Let your idea be addressed by “The Grand Challenges”
After reaching out to the science community and “think tanks” for their views on what ideas the government should tackle, the White House is seeking input from U.S. citizens about national priorities. Offering similarities to President Kennedy’s challenge of placing a man on the moon, the initiative hopes to harness the expertise of the American people.
Thus far suggestions have ranged from the obvious [cure cancer, develop hyrdrogen fuel, construct a high-speed rail network across the U.S., repair or reconstruct the ozone layer] to colonization of uninhabitable places such as the ocean floors or other planets.

Personally, it is to contribute more and require less.
As for the governments “Grand Challenge” and their list of national priorities, my suggestion is, LESS IS MORE.
