Just saw your last post. Reminded me of something I read on another site. Thought this would be of interested… read the customer reviews at http://www.bestbuy.com/site/AudioQuest+-+Coffee+39.4%27+HDMI+Cable+-+White/1267764.p?id=1218245464814&skuId=1267764#BVRRWidgetID. Very funny stuff. I am surprised the company has not deleted these reviews yet. In case they have, here was the first comment that started it all:

Residential Systems posted a 2/9/2011 blog article regarding Best Buy’s “Buy Back” program. During the SuperBowl, Best Buy introduced the “Buy Back” program paying some $3 million for the commercial air time.
Excerpt from that article… Now, on the surface, Buy Back sounds kind of slick. How many times have you purchased a piece of technology only to find out that a year later it was out of date and something newer, faster, better, cheaper, and more bionical had come along? Laptop, cell phone, digital camera…these types of technologies just seem to live to burn us the second we walk out of the store. If only there was a way to turn your old steaming pile of silicon worthlessness into a fresh gleaming pile of silicon awesomeness. On the surface, that’s kind of what Best Buy seems to be offering with their Buy Back program.

In June of 1965, the Kiel Opera House in St Louis aired a show when visited by the Rat Pack. As Quincy Jones conducts the Count Basie Band, enjoy this musical number when Johnnie Carson joins in, supposedly one of the ONLY times Carson sang in public!

Reflections of a Cowboy, Baxter Black. As the New Year begins, take a moment to think about the things for which you are grateful. Happy New Year! ~ the eLifespaces Team
To you and your families, please receive our best wishes for a peaceful and joyous holiday season.
This is always a jubilant time of the year. Not only is it a time in which we have given thanks for the many blessings in our lives, but it is a season which celebrates the joy within each of us.
Please pray for our brave men and women in uniform. We are grateful for their service to us and our country, and for the support and sacrifice of their families. During these next few weeks, we also hope that you will pause to reflect on the many contributions you have made this year in service of your faith, your family and your community.
Many opportunities are before us, and we look forward to what the New Year has in store. May the peace and goodwill of the season fill every heart and warm every home. Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year ~ f

Read a very interesting article by Curt Hopkins [http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/author/curt-hopkins.php] regarding archaeoacoustics (a/k/a acoustic archaeology), an emerging field of science which seeks to understand how sound influenced a given culture. Even more fascinating is how we too can experience these sounds from the past. For more, Acoustic Archaeology? Meet the Web
Hopkins leaves us with a “take-away” thought, “What does it all mean? … What sounds will our descendants find us to have valued?”
