Ever since the iPad initially came out (and before it did, but that’s something I can’t discuss here), people have been in love with it – well, almost everyone.

From my little corner in the tech scene, I’ve been scoffing at it and its missing features for the longest time. And my criticism is not unfounded, as my credentials in the industry will show. My name is Anthony Cargile, I hate the iPad, and here is why.

Yes, Yes, I Want a New iPhone

Yes, yes!!!  I want the new iPhone… so logging onto the www.Apple.com web site, the process of “pre-ordering” the new iPhone 4.0 began at 8:00AM, sharp.  Encountering my first series of questions:  new service or replacing existing? answer – Replacing existing.  Next, Apple must check eligibility for my AT&T account. Answering the three validation questions, the spiral wheel began a turning.  Turning it did for minutes, which then turned into five, which turned into fifteen, at which point the program was left running in the background as my attention turned to the work load of the morning.  Occasionally checking… spiral wheel still turning.  (more…)
